Dr. Harsh Mehta has been deeply involved in the field of urology since 2010, gaining extensive surgical and academic experience through his training and practice at some of India’s and Europe’s most respected institutions.
He began his medical journey 16 years ago by securing a rank in India’s Top 100 medical applicants, and pursued his MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai — one of the country’s premier medical institutes.
This was followed by a Master’s degree in General Surgery (M.S.) from Government Medical College & Hospital, Aurangabad.
He then pursued his Super-Speciality training in Urology (DrNB Urology) at P.D. Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai, where he developed expertise in Endourology, Uro-Oncology, Andrology & Male Infertility, Robotic Urology, Kidney Transplant Surgery and Reconstructive Urology.
To expand his global perspective, Dr. Mehta completed an International Fellowship in Robotic Urology and Uro-Oncology in Belgium — one of the highest-volume robotic urology centres worldwide and home to the prestigious ORSI Academy. During this fellowship, he trained under the world-renowned robotic surgeon Dr. Alex Mottrie, mastering advanced robotic procedures for prostate cancer, kidney cancer, and bladder cancer.
He further enhanced his international expertise through a certification course in the management of advanced urological diseases from Harvard University, USA.
Dr. Mehta also holds an Advanced Fellowship Certification in Minimally Invasive Surgery from the Sri Lankan Urological Society, showcasing his commitment to global standards in urological care.
He has served as an Associate Consultant in Urology at P.D. Hinduja Hospital, further strengthening his clinical expertise and patient-care experience.
Previously, he has worked and contributed significantly at major high-volume centres as an Assistant Professor in Mumbai including ESIC Hospitals , V.N.Desai Municipal Hospital, and R.N. Cooper Medical College & Municipal Hospital — all known for managing large numbers of complex and diverse urological cases.
